      Collegial environment, great technology and products, great brand, great people

      Cons

      Reorganizations every year, management team is in spin cycle = rare opportunities for others to advance; austere focus on cost-cutting at every level, with apparent disregard for impact on stated growth objectives.

      Pros

      great benefits and name recognition on your resume when you want to move on. Good teleworking opportunities. Great immediate co-workers

      Cons

      Very long hours, expected 55-70 hrs per week. 7 day a week position. Salary not comparable to other corporations. Discontinued 401k match

      Pros

      Xerox is an extremely nurturing community. The employees stay here as long as possible, sometimes over forty years. People are happy here. Your colleagues are smart as hell and fully committed to the company and industry. They're generally flexible with time off or personal needs.

      Cons

      Firstly - all roads lead to Rochester, NY in some way or another. Most people who climb to the top live in upstate NY for at least a short period of time. Secondly - the culture and management is soooo slow to react. There are always apparent issues in going to market or taking action. If you're super aggressive and crave speed and action - this is NOT the place for you. If you like to take it calmly - you'll love corporate.
