Pros

The only positive was that they provided a commuter stipend which covered my metro pass every month.

Cons

I (female) was onboarded at a much lower salary than the male I was replacing had earned, and from that point on Xtreme Solutions seemed committed to never paying me a fair rate. They told me repeatedly that after I learned the job and proved my worth I would be given a raise. Over my first year in this position I became an integral part of the office, and the client came to depend on me very heavily for my hard work and knowledge of the job. You would think this would make me valuable to my company, but it did not. They continued to dangle this mythical raise in front of me as the carrot to keep me working hard, but after months and months I was given what could barely constitute as a scant cost-of-living adjustment. Meanwhile, I was training a brand new colleague who was revealed to be earning significantly more than me. This whole ordeal was immensely humiliating, and management had different excuses at the ready every single time I brought to their attention that I needed to be paid fairly, including that they were not allowed to and could not afford to. It was only after I finally found a new job and told them I was leaving that they actually offered me more money. I can't imagine a world in which that is a viable business strategy. Although I greatly enjoyed supporting the government client, Xtreme Solutions gave a textbook example of how women are still fighting for equal pay.

Pros

the only positive I can think of is that the benefits package helps pay for the entirety of my commute in the city ( not Metro parking), and the close proximity to metro stations

Cons

-toxic work environment is an understatement, the treatment of associates is problematic to say the least. There are blatant cases of sexism and prejudice that no one seems to want to address.

Pros

Teleworking with government team. Contract supervisor is cool.Does help with commute to work as far as Metro.

Cons

Insurance is not good enough. They barely care about you or have your back.I wouldn’t go back to that company. No Raise! Pay isn’t good enough
