      Good pay for the position. Decent benefits & 401k option. Many career opportunities if you are willing to move around and even potentially change your initial career plans.

      Cons

      Very low morale. Lack of and extremely poor leadership in several areas of the facility.

      - Four 10-hour workdays weekly, plus time balancing - Very strong job security - Work-life balance is very good - Work culture is good, the people are very down-to-earth and relaxed - The work supports an important, meaningful mission

      - DoE work pacing is very slow at times - Opaque promotion system that seemingly rewards less experienced new hires much more than long-term employees, with respect to time in grade
