Good work life balance. People are not pushing and very nice in general

Full of office politics. Several layers of VPs make the company slow and they lack smart decisions

Pros

yahoo is a generous company, a good salary and all. good work/life balance. there are a lot people leaving, so it is not hard to promote faster than usual.

Cons

no sense of focus from upper management. you work on something for months/years just to see the project is being killed.
