It was great to work with a knowledgeable professor and other teaching fellows. Hours were relatively flexible.

Cons

Hours including preparing for leading discussions and grading homework and exams were not structured. Sometimes the job required more hours than expected.

Pros

Yale offers great salaries and benefits, intelligent colleagues and faculty, and upward mobility. My department also encourages continued learning and access to some of the most interesting speakers and events that come to campus.

Cons

Yale is hindered by it slow-moving, conservative culture. Though faculty are doing amazing work here, the institution as a whole does not foster the innovative, entrepreneurial culture that you could find elsewhere (Stanford, MIT, etc.).
