      Yale is a great place for graduate students

      Pros

      I love the people that I work with; very friendly, tight community within the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Additionally, as Yale is a small school, you very quickly meet everyone in engineering. Everyone is very wiling to help you achieve your goals in whatever capacity that they can.

      Cons

      Very minimal options for coursework, as the school is very small. As a graduate student, you are unfortunately expected to work extensive hours (60+) to accomplish what is necessary for your PhD thesis. As a graduate student, pay is low, as expected, but it's truly wonderful that as graduate students, we can get paid to go to school!
