Pros
Diverse, bright faculty and employee community. It is an ambitious, motivating environment to work within. Retirement and insurance benefits were good.
Cons
HR processes are sometimes painfully slow and not as efficient as one might expect. Sometimes, departments seem more divided into individual teams and less unified than one might hope. This likely varies greatly depending on the available funding and leadership of the department (particularly for research).
