      Large, prestigious institution provides a lot of security and support; great benefits and pay compared to other kinds of nonprofits; helping to educate tomorrow's leaders; lots of smart people around

      Cons

      High turnover rate (at least in Development), passive-aggressiveness, HR not particularly helpful in conflict situations, not much investment in career development

      Pros

      Benefits are good, time is flexible, employer perks are good. Co-workers are generally educated, helpful and friendly.

      Cons

      Conflicts with union sometimes overshadow issues. Working with other departments is sometimes difficult. Budgets have been cut for departments. Med school relies on grant funding for many processes.
