-World-class research environment with state-of-the-art facilities -broad range of expertise across many different departments -University with International reputation -Reasonable teaching load
Cons
-Lack of mentoring structure for junior faculty -many senior faculty members are backward-looking -opaque promotion mechanisms -over 8 years, got no raise for several years and only 1-2% raise in all but one of the other years, when the raise was ~5%.
