Pros

Brand new building with newer software. When inconvenienced, they seek to make up for it in any way. Such as during construction, we received free lunches from food trucks. Really great people in other departments; people who had been there for many years and seemed to really enjoy it. Pay and benefits are good. Flex time is available but some departments refuse to use it if it is abused.

Cons

My department is the only con to working here; however, I believe that my department was a bad representation of the company as a whole but as long as you're not stuck in that department, I think you would rather enjoy it. My ratings reflect how I viewed the company as a whole (what I heard from others and what I saw), not taking into account the miserable working conditions of my own department. My department was miserable to work in. They had a bully approach to training. I had another coworker in my department ask for my permission to speak to our manager about how I was being treated during training-saying that they were uncomfortable with how I was being bullied. Environment became very hostile. Older coworkers who were equal to me in status were extremely rude. Would complain to our manager about any thing that they could. Extreme sensitivity made it unbearable. They were a large reason for my resignation. Difficult to communicate with team members and ask them for help when they won't even make eye contact with you when you say "good morning". Was not given ample training and expected to excel at the job within a short amount of time learning brand new information. Was aggressively asked why I wasn't understanding it without placing any blame on themselves or their training capability from their foreign trainers that created a difficult language barrier. Had rumors started about me and was told by management that it was probably because people were "threatened by me" because of my "professionalism" and directed not to involve HR...unless I felt it necessary to do so (persuaded not to). Other coworkers were never disciplined for knowingly starting rumors, etc. Was constantly told that they company allegedly did not want our department to exist. Which was never displayed to me by any other coworkers who were not in my department. I made great friends with those outside of my department who were very helpful, kind, and made it the only thing bearable at the office.
