Pros

Great benefits Great work environment Nice surroundings

Cons

Nepotism at its finest. Don't accept an offer unless you are okay with being overlooked and underappreciated for your work. There is a favorites system at play

It sounds like you are frustrated and unsure how to move forward in your position. There are many opportunities for advancement in the company once someone has mastered their subject matter. You may want to consider signing up for online e-learning classes or Tuition Reimbursement to help add to your ‘current tool belt of skills.’ We encourage you to speak with your manager about your interest in growing with the company and HR’s door is open if you want to discuss any concerns. Thank you for leaving a review and hoping things feel better for you soon.

Pros

-Free coffee & fruits, twice a week -Taxi ride back home (for the shifts ending after 10PM)

Cons

-Passive aggression: menacing mails aiming to organise your entire life up to the last detail: don't come late, clean your desk, work, work, work!!! Of course, it's only natural for a company to expect full engagement but those emails seemed targeted to everyone although only some people were late, showed disinterest etc. -Disrespect for personal wishes against business needs: I was witness to numerous cases in which people were simply announced they are to leave their current position for another one according to internal necessities. It didn't matter if the person did a good job or not. It didn't matter if the person liked its current occupation. In Yardi Matrix we were all pawns obeying the Queen. -Some senior members acting as gods. People were simply terrorized by their attitude and desire to make newbies seem inferior and simply stupid. -Lack of loyalty inside of teams: all processes should be based on collaboration between people but as there is no element of bonus associated with team success some people would gladly watch the others crash and burn and not move one finger to help them. It's everyone on its own, although the management constantly insists on the importance of a healthy, supportive team. -Unfairness in salary payment. One year of tenure in Yardi qualified me for a pay raise inferior to the salary of a newbie. Everyone hired after the April pay raise ended being paid more than people with seniority in the company, in a desperate attempt of the company to stimulate performance and decrease attrition. -Lack of clear personal advancement plan: Yardi constantly comments on the possibility of advancing in the company. Not true. Not true at all. As an internet researcher, you are a mere phone surveyor. You don't learn anything. There are no trainings available for employees. The only upward movement will happen if the manager will like you. Other than this, there are only lateral movements, according to "business needs". If the management doesn't like you, you should better leave, there is not future for you here. -Free transportation comes with late-night shifts. And you are not even allowed to take a cab on you own, you must share with many people. And this perk is offered instead of meal tickets, a frequent benefit of most Cluj companies, one which you are forced to use because there are no means of transportation available at the unholy hours practiced by this company. -Last but not least, THE MANAGEMENT. That woman is a double-faced individual, aiming to keep in the company only the dim-witted eager to obey every of her orders. The toxic atmosphere existent inside the teams is generated by her lack of management ability, by her huge ego, inflated by those obedient seniors praising her non-existent merits due to their desire of preserving their benefits. She disregards completely that every individual has a life and will of their own, she is the red queen, screaming "off with her/his head" of every person willing to challenge the inequities existent in the company. I witnessed bright, full of potential people whose opinions were completely ignored just because Iulia didn't want her beliefs to be challenged in any way. Nobody is allowed to have a mind of one's own, or he/she will be fired or his/her life will become a living hell until they willingly resign.
