      Comfortable but not exciting

      Pros

      Many wonderful coworkers, truly friendly environment, a great place to learn both tech and the real estate business, very stable company with dominant market position and good future prospects

      Cons

      Top-down management style often fails to recognize individual initiative, limited opportunities for advancement beyond a moderate level, compensation low for the area (it is not possible to live independently in some of the cities the company is based in), unnecessarily rigid about certain policies (such as remote work)

All of our salaries are benchmarked each year against national averages and salary is only one component of your overall compensation, along with paying 100% of your health care premium, a FSA plan, 401k, profit sharing, bonuses when deserved, etc. Your comments about attracting, recognizing and keeping talented and passionate people are well-taken. We hope you are one of those people! A few months ago we began an initiative to do exactly that. While it may take some time for full effect, we hope you will see results soon. Please contact HR to further discuss your thoughts on building a stronger foundation.

      Excellent company to work for

      Pros

      Great atmosphere, great colleagues, and great collaboration/teamwork. Solid revenue and growth, large market share. Company is growing, so there are opportunities for advancement. There are many teams and departments, so there are also opportunities to move laterally. As product changes there are always new things to learn. Role is challenging and rewarding.

      Cons

      No (or very few) opportunities to work remotely. Long work days (9 hours, including 1 hour for lunch).
