      Pros

      Casual atmosphere. Even though we are an internationally large company, it still feels like a small company with a home town feel. The culture of Yardi is one of collaboration and excitement. At any time you can reach out to top management for assistance or guidance. Everyone looks out for everyone else. Top management is always concerned for home/work balance and places a priority on home. Everyone works hard and gets the job done.

      Cons

      If you are looking for a place to move up the ladder and find that to be your goal, this is not the place. While we all make advances, we make them on growth and understanding. We make our own path and find our successes in our day to day activities and the success of our clients.

      Pros

      good training in functional and technical aspects both. great crowd to work with and hangout after work. Thumbs up to the global solutions management, they would listen to each and every small issues you have. they will send you onsite so you can interact with clients as well.

      Cons

      compensation is a little less than the market. Usually you won't get work from home.

      A great place to work

      Pros

      It's a challenging job, but in 2.5 years I've been promoted twice. When I've run into difficulties in work or family life I always have support at work. I even had to leave an out of town trip due to a family emergency, and not only was it not an issue, they insisted that I go. As for the work, there's always someone I can reach out to for help with a topic I'm not as strong in. The best thing is the room to grow and the outstanding support.

      Cons

      The pay isn't really as high as I'd expect it to be in the IT industry, especially considering we don't do only software support. We also need to know a LOT of accounting and have an understanding of the property management industry. The work itself can be really hard, so you have to be willing to stretch your mind and learn constantly. The culture of the company and most managers is great, but it's still dependent on the manager in question. Sometimes certain managers don't follow the company culture.
