Pros

The atmosphere of the workplace; willingness of YES Energy to put family first; great benefits; relaxed dress code; supportive management and supervisors.

Cons

Slow advancement; lower-than-average salaries; workplace is in a constant stage of change; job descriptions are vague and outdated; reporting standards and KPIs are not all that useful for measuring performance.

We appreciate your feedback about your experience working in our YES Energy division. We agree - putting our clients' needs first is incredibly important. Their feedback helps us develop better products and an improved customer service experience, just as your feedback helps us improve the experience of our employees. While data points may be one part of the assessment process, we would agree that they do not provide the entire picture.

Pros

I am in the Atlanta office, and have had only positive experiences here. Training is ongoing and comprehensive, management overall offers constructive feedback, review periods are consistent, it's a diverse workplace, and coworkers are helpful in that they are encouraged by management, and open to, sharing their varying levels of experience to help peers. The benefits are very good, including the flexibility in scheduling--another "perk" of working here. Also notable is the culture of support, caring, and a true push for all employees to maintain a "work-life balance"--those aren't buzzwords at Yardi. The corporate motto on their website pretty much speaks to the goals we strive for here.

Cons

There is such an overall positive energy at this place, I cannot think of any cons working at Yardi Systems.

Pros

Health insurance benefits, flex spending accounts, relaxed dress code, major holidays off. Fun office events (to try and boost moral).

Cons

The moral at the Colorado Springs Office is at an all time low. It started about a year and a half ago, when new management came in and we started out sourcing all work to Pune India. Since then we have lost knowledgeable, hard working employees.....and clients. A lot of clients. The worst part, when employees leave we have no training system to support new employees. The extra work and training falls on the already stretched thin employees. Not to mention, they higher supervisors from outside the company....guess who gets to train the new supervisors?? The employees working under them. The ones already stressed, over worked, and getting paid a whole lot less. The answer to every problem with the software is an "upgrade" or new plug in, which the majority of the time breaks 10 other things while fixing 2. Development is not held to a high standard, if any.
