-You have to take the Y6 course online before teaching there even if you are already a certified YTT instructor. -Even after you are Yogasix certified, the lead teacher will often review your class and email you feedback, not always negative but a distraction nonetheless. -They told me they were making a class change because of attendance, not because of my performance however they did not ask if I was interested in leading it. -I brought some friends in and when they did not sign up for a membership they were fairly aggressively pursued in person, email, and phone to sign up. The high-pressure sell is just not what I think a studio should be. -I resigned and I am not happy with the way they went about things.

Low Pay. Highest paid us the lead teacher at $60. Most teachers average around $35 plus a few dollars "admin time". Full desk staff but teachers mop , leading to disconnect with students. Management / Franchise owners have no clue about yoga or the industry and pin event decision or corporate- located in CA. Studio is not hot and has led to students leaving by the dozens to seek radiant heat with strong talented teachers . Y6 Chester has fired or talent will not go thru their specific format trainings because it is very strict and not in line with vinyasa trainings on the East Coast . Teacher training pays less than 15% of tuition . Whereas the going rate is 75-80%. Guest teachers going rate is $125 an hour in the NYC area . It's a corporate structure that is struggling to fit in with a very talented student and teacher community. Owners have a disconnect showing no redos r to the industry .
