Great people and inedible missions

Pros

Lots of interaction with very friendly people. You will make more friends in this job than you will anywhere and you will meet people from all over the world. They also have incredible benefits

Cons

long hours, upper management is completely out of touch with rest of the mission, low pay. Prepare to have your work life and home life merge

Special kind of work

Pros

While serving as a volunteer provides no compensation, the excitement and joy of working with kids and other leaders is rewarding enough. My job is basically to be a friend. Friendships are awesome. It's how you build great memories.

Cons

No pay as a volunteer (but that's not why we work here anyway). As far as a résumé goes, it's not the most useful "experience".
