Pros

Health benefits. They reimburse mileage. They give you a platform to look for interventions so you don't have to do your own

Cons

You are essentially a babysitter for DCF involved kids and parents. You are cheated out of your overtime and expected to babysit families and children more than doing actual therapy and learning how to be a good social worker or therapist. The pay looks high and attractive until you realize that for the work you do, they pay breadcrumbs. They will have you drive far out of your home territory. Work life balance does not exist. Not worth it. Managers and supervisors have no experience and they micromanage terribly, giving you no value to your time spent. Promotion is not a thing
