      Pros

      Excellent benefits, generous time off, Management is accessible and open to ideas. German company, so get to work with many different people. Complimentary donuts/fruit/bagels every other Friday.

      Cons

      Parking can be tight mid day. Being a German company, sometimes process changes happen slowly.

      Pros

      Great international opportunities, friendly co-workers. I"ve worked for the company for many years and enjoy the multinational linkages and multple challenges.

      Cons

      Still quite German-central thinking although this is changing. In recent years, has been a climate of cuts, cuts and more cuts so can be demotivating about future growth.

      The Overall Brand value of Zeiss.

      Cons

      No performance based evaluation, the hike and variable is only dependent on your relationship with your manager. No scope for learning and growth, people have been doing the same set of activities for years together with no change in roles and responsibilities.
