Pros

Vacation time: You are able to purchase additional vacation days

Cons

My experience at this company has been quite disheartening due to its pervasive “Good Ole Boys Club” culture. Despite the initial promises of growth and a collaborative environment, it quickly became apparent that advancement and opportunities were not based on merit but on longstanding personal connections and favoritism. Key positions and promotions are typically reserved for those within the inner circle, creating a stagnant environment for others who are equally, if not more, qualified. This culture stifles innovation, demoralizes hardworking employees, and creates a toxic atmosphere where efforts are overlooked unless you’re part of the in-group. Additionally, the management’s lack of transparency and reluctance to address these issues only perpetuates the problem. Constructive feedback is often ignored, and attempts to suggest improvements are dismissed or met with resistance. For anyone considering joining this company, be aware that breaking into the established network of the “Good Ole Boys Club” can be an uphill battle. If you’re looking for a workplace where your skills and contributions are genuinely valued and can lead to fair advancement, this might not be the place for you.

Pros

Company is fostering the diversity in face. Tips for Job Seeker: Try to get more salary and vacation. You will need it later. Think next move in 2-5 years. You might be thrown under the bus after that period.

Cons

Benefits are apparently fine, but not working if you got sick Dubious job description will give ultimate disappointment Possible H-1B abuse by putting good-looking job description but putting crappy workload Need to work more days than Automotive OEMs Management and Interfaces plans insane and unrealistic schedule, and they toss them to employees. Consequently, they are covertly demanding overworks. Now, they are not giving promised additional bonus by overtime works. Some of the people still bullying vulnerable. Many people are leaving (High Turnover Rate), and HR is filling the vacancies with experienced engineers, but it shall take some time to train them. Not taking quality seriously. Understaffed, but need to cover gigantic reviews and documentations. HR is just focusing on controlling, teasing, tracking, and chasing employees. They are not focusing on filling essential vacancies. They do not care employee's wellbeing, which takes part of high turnover rate. Information is not properly shared between teams and within each teams. They are not talking same language. Nepotism, Favoritism, Racism… Some managers and supervisors are bullying some young employees with having a delusion that young guys are to replace those old guys. Their interest is only keeping their position, and they are using company politics to rule out young employees. Generally do not care employee's career and development, but just giving overwhelming workload to cause burn-out. Lack of the proper return or compensation despite of the workload given. Mixture of bad cultures from ZF and TRW. You may give up the job security, career advancement, support from bosses, and promotion when you decide to keep work-life balance. Less supportive environment. Lower level supervisors and managers might give passive-aggressive treatment once they don't like you with any reasons or no reason. Everyone is so busy to take care the support request. Prone to get mental health issue. (Tip - Use EAP Benefits and Mental Health App Benefits)
