Company is moving in the right direction. Making changes to outdated compensation and focus. Cultural changes are eminent.

Cons

May be too late for the change. Many strong TM's are moving on. Long road to recovery.

Excellent exposure to key cardiologists. Fun product to sell. Excellent patient interaction and opportunity to educate. Good potential earning for TOP reps.

Cons

Disconnected Senior Management. Unrealistic quota expectations. Underpaid internal support staff who are not qualified to do their job in the medical arena. Cheap company. Not an entrepreneurial spirit. Like to do things the way they have always been done. Reluctant to listen to field sales personnel and make small, realistic changes. Poor base salary for the level of experience they are expecting. Inability to hire good people because of company reputation.

You will have learned to perfect your interpersonal skills and customer service. You will be able to work from home.

Cons

The organization is poorly run. The corporate office and sales teams have different objectives making it difficult to work together efficiently. SSRs support regions which consist of multiple reps, it is also their responsibility to cover vacant territories. Since there is an extremely high turnover of sales reps, this can leave an SSR having 2-3 full time positions making on salary. Say goodbye to weekends. The bonus structure for SSRs is structured as their sales quota, eventually not attainable.
