      Pros

      Good pay, ability to work from home, casual office environment, young colleagues

      Cons

      No direction from management, lack of client work led to undisclosed layoffs, competitive environment, limited on-boarding process, repetitive project work, high turnover, lack of exit options outside of pharma, frequent work with offshore colleagues requires 24/7 on-call culture, employees joining after undergrad strongly favored for promotions versus external hires

      Great place to start or end a career -- in between, not so much

      Pros

      -Excellent training and professional development -Great culture, supportive and friendly people -Prestigious, good (but not great) pay, good work/life balance (if you know how to push back)

      Cons

      -Compensation could be higher -- but the business is run extraordinarily efficiently so I see why it's not (ie: the market doesn't demand that a higher salary be given, so the partners are happy nickle and diming when they can) -The firm is growing rapidly, and the culture IS changing -- a lot of experienced hires = a lot of people who don't understand ZS way. Specifically, the LA office has a HUGE deloitte influence and it has fundamentally changed the way the office is run, the culture of the people there, and what the job entails... These are strong negative influences and while they have not changed every aspect of what it is to be a ZSer, they necessarily will if this trend is not reversed

      Pros

      Great atmosphere to work in. Intelligent staff and able to ask questions and get answers from co-workers. Great convenient location. Fun after hours and group activities.

      Cons

      Managers are not clear on what they want/need. Supervisors do not stand behind their team members. Favoritism shown to certain employees. If a senior manager has a problem with you they will let you go without considering your feedback (this usually happens after mid year review). Upper management doesn't address complaints about middle management.
