Pros
- 40 hour a week job. Consistent hours - Good experience to put on resume - PTO and other benefits like health insurance. - You get half off up to $5 at the burger and pizza spot across the street. Also food truck there is amazing.
Cons
- if you’re new to the world of tech this going to be a very hard job. They’re willing to hire anybody, and while that seems cool at first, you’ll quickly become overwhelmed if you do not have the experience to work on servers. - Poor training. They say you are not expected to know everything but get frustrated when you don’t know something. My personal mentor there was told not to help me if I was having issues by his higher up. - Poor management, not much communication between staff, and when they speak it’s extremely passive aggressive - hours will be 8 hours and 45 mins and they take lunch out of your pay automatically. -They will tell you about the numerous ways to grow in the company, but if you talk to the employees you’ll find many who have been working the same role for years, unable to get a promotion of any kind.
