      Pros

      Great company for longevity, company seems to have many opportunities. I would love to go back to Zachry if an opportunity would come up in the Chicagoland area.

      Cons

      Working on overhead and not projects sometimes puts you on edge.

      Pros

      Great employment while construction is in full swing, plenty of working hours, pay scale is great to level of experience

      Cons

      when construction projects come to an end they look for any reason to terminate employment regardless of individual performance. it becomes their mission to prevent having to pay unemployment benefits. also high turn over in supervision roles. my experience i went thru 16 foreman, 7 general foreman and 6 superintendents over 10 months of employment.

      With longevity can come a lack of movement. There is no formal advancement program.
