      Pros

      Zayo has and is clearly positioning itself to be a dominant player in the network facility business - think fiber. Interestingly this is what our prospects and customers "want", we a simply delivering what they are requesting... interesting notion. This place encourages independent, take action people - you are charged with fixing your own challenges and given is tools and people to help.

      Cons

      This is an environment for "self - starters", no question. But if you have your expectations set when you join and like to work your own program, this could be for you. The pace is really fast and the organization is very flat.

      Pros

      The expectations are well communicated. We know what is needed - Salesforce.com; funnel mgmt; exceed the quotas; drive more business; communicate extensively. But we thrive here within those expectations, and are given the tools to succeed. Transparency in financial reporting adds credibility. Unique asset in the ground, and ability to sell dark fiber is huge.

      Cons

      Silo'd business units sometimes get in the way of doing what's right for the customer, or make it difficult to do so.

      Pros

      I am a relatively new employee and there are a ton of great people here to help get me up to speed on Zayo policies and procedures. Lots of positive energy and constructive criticism. Nice place to work thus far.

      Cons

      If you want to work at a company with a formal training program, then this is not the place for you. Its a "learn on the fly" type of environment where you must always strive to learn from others and on your own.
