Great Company Culture

Pros

Senior management seems to be truly committed to the company's culture - the company develops and produces cutting edge technologies and devices. So the end result product and/or solution can be very exciting to work on. Great camaraderie exists among many of the employees.

Cons

There are still some separation glitches from the former parent company that seem to be impeding complete cultural assimilation. These need to be resolved as swiftly as possible.

Not worth the aggravation

Pros

The people I work with. Benefits are ok but a little on the expensive side when comparing benefit packages with other companies.

Cons

The management. Everyone on the management team seems like they don't care. I understand terminating people that are not performing but when the expectations are unreachable then what is an employee to do. Ideas for improving process are laughed at. There isn't any consistency between supervisors and the managers are out of touch. One of those managers shouldn't even be a manager over people because that person doesn't have any people skills. Also, advancement is rough. Locked in the position and cannot transfer out either because the management team deems you too valuable where you are at or you have to know someone because most of the positions are already spoken for.

Pros

Selling the enormous old Holtsville building with the many empty dusty cubicles will not only get rid of the culture, it will also bring in a one time cash infusion to make at least one quarter seem good on paper. It is like a seniors club there. Lincolnshire however lacks any energy and talent.

Cons

Expect many layoffs. Look at the earnings report. Layoffs are coming. Executive leadership bought a company three times its legacy size. They cannot handle it. Our stock will be useless for a very long time or forever as the stock drops by more than half. There is no incentive to stay. Get résumés ready before the layoffs.
