Pros

Good IP with built in customer base. Donut Friday. Kitchen with hot lunches, lots of free beverages and snacks. Good location, on bus and light rail line. Convenient to shopping, grocery store, interstate. Some covered parking, and enough parking for everyone.

Cons

Old school management, top-down. Promotion opportunities not available. HR not all that responsive. Office building is run down. Folks kept getting stuck in the elevators. Stairs not maintained. After product shipped, a lot of folks seemed to have nothing to do while others were busy. Workloads not distributed evenly. Cronyism.

Pros

Pay is decent and most positions are full time. Opportunity exists for upwards movement, and the company seems like it has a good future.

Cons

Promotions can be hindered by inner-office politics, and deadlines have a habit of not being strictly hindered to - resulting in sustained crunch for certain departments.

MMO Studio Behind ESO has a lot of heavy hitters to learn from, but a lot of process that needs improving.

Pros

Staffed by a lot of very experienced developers from across the industry. Decent pay for the geographic location. Opportunities to transfers to other studios in the Zenimax family.

Cons

The studio has seen experienced some growing pains over the years. The studio is still ironing out development process issues after many years working on the Elder Scrolls Online.
