Pros

Paid decently, very good health benefits, a pension. While there is a possibility that you will be laid off if your current position is no longer needed, the company does put in a lot of effort to see you placed in other positions in order to retain you.

Cons

Software and other work tools are extremely outdated--think the 80s! Difficult to maintain the efficiency they require on stuff that old. A great deal of work that most companies purchase software for is still done by hand, which once again, makes efficiency a challenge. Environment can be exceptionally unpleasant. A lot of racism and homophobia, directed not only at coworkers but at clients as well. It's not true of every single person there, but it is very common.
