Pros

A lot of smart, motivated, fun people work at Zenoss. It is gratifying to work on such a large, popular open source project and know that your work is appreciated by a great many people. Management is quite reasonable with regard to life/work balance.

Cons

The job can be stressful at times, as with any startup. Many of the company processes and procedures are still being figured out and this can sometimes be frustrating. Many parts of Annapolis suffer from high crime, poor schools, etc.
