Pros

people in the same situation help create good friend relations in the workplace, good holiday schedule, flexible work environment, convenient location

Cons

pay is horrible, raises are nothing, absolutely no opportunity to move up, people you definitely do not deserve to move up seem to become leaders, people in lower positions are treated like crap and worked to the bone...no recommendation......

A lesson about red flags

Pros

Beautiful office, large accounts, freestyle coke machine

Cons

Please, if anything else, let this review serve as an insight into the issue of ignoring red flags. I started at Zimmerman close to four years ago, having recently left to go to another agency. Naively, I ignored the red flags that I saw prior to joining the company (the online reviews), as well as former and current employees I have spoken to. In a nutshell, here they are: - Strict 9-6. Timed attendance at the door. You WILL be fired if you get in a minute late. This is not a joke. - High egos. Jordan Zimmerman is extremely resistant to change. He does NOT take employee consideration into account at all. - No raises, no promotions. I have worked with highly talented people for years and they never received any type of bonus. - No bonuses (holiday, end of year, etc.) - Promises for raises and promotions, yet this will never happen. - Extremely low pay for the majority of all jobs at Zimmerman (the lowest I've personally ever seen in any agency, especially one as "big" as this place). - Benefits aren't great. - Absolutely no remote work at all. At ALL. I used to drive over an hour to work every day. I can't believe I wasted so much time of my life doing that. No exceptions. One of my former coworkers wasn't allowed to work remote when his wife was experiencing labor pains and had to drive to the office. Yeah. Wild.
