Pros

My coworkers. If you’re starting out in the agency world and don’t have many options (since south Florida is so limited in good agency options), consider this a boot camp of sorts for agency experience.

Cons

Now that I have experience working at other agencies, I see that Zimmerman offered no good employee perks. Salary offered is a misery and there is no work-life balance. Also, Jordan Zimmerman’s first piece of advice when you go in for your on boarding is “you don’t need more than 5 hours of sleep.” Hopefully that’s a glimpse into what the agency expects from you.

Pros

• There's a foosball table so there's that.

Cons

• Work/Life balance is discouraged - their own tagline is 24/7 Seriously for crying out loud. Truth be told, you are just a spoke on the wheel and they believe you need them more than they need you. • Low pay. You'd make a lot more at the agency across the street to be honest. • They make promises they have zero intention of keeping. That's mostly on the HR recruiter though. Take what he says with a grain of salt. Be careful with their promises. HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING. • Dinosaurs are NOT extinct. You can find them in the executive leadership team. They aren't forward thinkers, even though they like to preach that they are. A lot of the problems there could be fixed with some major changes at that level. • Bring some sage spray. You'll need it, A LOT. So many talented folks left because of the toxic atmosphere in that place.

Pros

There are no pros. None. Zero.

Cons

If you like being shamed, humiliated, treated less than by everyone from the top down, then you should absolutely apply for a position at Zimmerman. Glassdoor requires that you give at least one star. You can thank Glassdoor for that one, Zimmerman.
