This has been an incredible opportunity to work on a sci-fi future with no more checkout lines. We get to work on really exciting technical challenges: building high-performance, scalable software that can run reliably on low-power edge devices. Since we're a startup, I have been able to branch out and learn many new technologies that I had not been previously exposed to. The management is top-notch - the technical leadership has decades of distributed systems, computer vision, and machine learning experience, and the CEO (Krishna) has guided us with great strategy and insight. Other pros: - Free snacks, drinks, etc - Ownership over large swaths of the codebase - Talented and knowledgeable team members - Challenging and interesting projects - Equity

As expected from an early-stage startup: - Long hours as we build up our tech - Medical benefits aren't as comprehensive or inexpensive as at a big company
