Pros

If you’re good at selling memberships you will make a lot better money then just your per hour wage

Cons

A lot of down time so it can get boring because sometimes there’s nothing left to do after all the jobs are done and no one comes in for a wash

Growing= Growing Pains

Pros

Industry leading benefits package with the best 401K in the business space. DSMs are granted autonomy and allowed to make relevant business decisions to grow their markets (but have very little spare time to accomplish this). Dynamic work environment where everyday is both a success and challenge. DSMs have the opportunity to help their employees grow into highly functioning and independent managers that will strive in any industry. Zips is highly inclusive and has the best minority and female management hire rates that I have ever seen!

Cons

At the bottom rung of the service industry which makes finding quality employees difficult. Very restrictive staffing policies make feast or famine a daily struggle. A very unique industry where sales and mechanical abilities combine which is almost like hunting for unicorns in a world of sloths. Due to the nature of the position, there is no room for advancement unless more regional positions are created. Sales are tracked on a daily basis which leads to competition which is great, except some districts have subpar sites and equipment which puts them at a disadvantage.
