Pros

Working from home is great. Employee relationship with full time guaranteed # hours. New quarterly bonus potential. They offer competitive medical benefits, dental, life insurance and flexible spending accounts for child care and medical expenses.

Cons

Company is trying to manage growth and tweak the great product of providing virtual assistants which results in a lot of changes as they find what works and what doesn't.

Pros

I love working from home and being allowed some flexibility with hours. The culture at this company is they care and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy.

Cons

Promotional potential is slower than I anticipated. I was hoping to see more positions open up with the amount of growth the company is experiencing. It seems like they favor younger people for upper management positions, which really limits them.

Hey, thank you for the review and the feedback, too. About the opportunity for growth. The amount of people who work outside of the ZA role is still relatively small compared to how many ZAs we have. For an idea, it's about a ratio of 1:10—for every 1 "core team" employee we have 10 ZAs. It's really important to us, though, to make opportunities for people within the company. We're all about learning, growing, and developing and we want to make sure that we build a company where people can do that. Who wants to do the same thing over and over forever? A Tony Robbins line sticks out to me here: "The only thing that makes you happy long-term is growing and giving." We're good at the giving (that's what our service is all about) but we want to be better at the growing part. - Collin

Pros

Zirtual is a virtual personal assistant job. You can have as few as 2 or 3 clients or upwards of 7 or more, depending on the service level you agree to take. You have the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people from different areas of the country. You also get to virtually meet your team members via their online chat. Training is good. Team leaders are nice..everyone is helpful.

Cons

The challenge working here is you must be able to hit the ground running. When you agree to take on a client, you need to be certain that you fully understand the tasks they need completed. When a client is not happy, you as the ZA will have to accept the blame no matter who is at fault. Three complaints to upper management about your work performance and you are out of job.
