Typical Big Company

Pros

People were friendly, some management was good

Cons

Typical big company where you are a number. Despite HR people onsite, they will not assist you with questions, they refer you to an 800 number that closes at 5 pm Eastern, meaning no HR help after 2pm for California employees. Same with IT, there is onsite IT but they won't assist either if they are not assigned to your business unit refers to to another 800 number. Upper management only sees you as a number. Dont offer any hmo benefit other than kaiser which means either you pay a lot for medical bills or deal with Kaiser. It looks good on paper since they offer you a lot of extra vacation days but at the end of the day they don't care about employees.

No longer hard to leave

Pros

Great Benefits. Medical, dental, PTO, leave policies are the biggest draws to work at Zoetis. The tuition reimbursement program was great and they just recently made it better.

Cons

I cannot speak for all areas and locations of the company, but the culture in Lincoln is extremely toxic. Pay is far below area standards. Proper resources to perform daily work is limited and difficult to get unless it becomes a safety issue. There is a complete lack of communication from leadership team which allows rumors to run amok. Transparency is non-existent. Career development is not a priority at this location and feedback is almost always ignored. Good people in leadership position either seem to burn out or leave because they are not valued.
