They will train you in phlebotomy Co-workers quickly become close friends I did like my insurance benefits but I have heard from employees w/ families that it does not cover very much

Cons

All they do is make promises they will NEVER keep. They're favorite is promising new compensation. Which I never received. Not only was I their phlebotomist, I worked the front desk, I assisted the PA, I did all the in house lab tests, I was even the janitor! 5 jobs for $13? They do promise .50 raises every 6 months...but it goes in increments so if your 6 month was July 20th, and they give the raises out July 10; you will not receive your raise. I was one of the unlucky few.

Pros

I really thought this was a good way to get into the health care field w/o any prior medical experience. They have a great training program and I loved the schedule - 3 1/2 days on, 3 1/2 days off every week.

Cons

The pay wasn't great, but once you work there for a while, you do get patient bonuses which add up and I was a trainer which also added $ to my paycheck. Also, occasionally you have an on-call week where you may have to work much more than you are used to.
