Pros

Interview: The interview process was nothing like I have had in any other previous company. It was phased and had some testing of different skills. I met with various employees and management during the interview. After leaving that day I had a positive outlook on the company. I figured they were looking for highly skilled and motivated persons that were able to handle changes. Day to day: Depending on which group you are with, the day-to-day tasks will change. This job requires that you travel and book at least two weeks before the needed date. This should give you an idea that everything is planned accordingly, and not last minute. There will be times where you will meet with customers in person, so you must be personable and have a good way to remember customer names. Other times you will be working from home and need to be motivated to complete your tasks or learn more information. If you have had any previous project management skills exercised, this will be easy for you to organize your day. Employees: As I have interfaced with more and more employees, I have recognized that there are many who are very skilled at what they do. These people have been great resources for learning new skills. HR said it best… “These people are your team.” They have been the backbone to my success here. My manager has also been a great mentor and planner for my success here. He implemented a phased approached to my training that helped me understand the different skills I would be using. This helped me focus on each skill and enhance them as needed. Culture: We are a small company and since it was mentioned that you rely on others and interface with each other daily, you will build a tight knit relationship with everyone. During the company events, you will get to bond with each other with work-related and non-work-related events. I would say that the communication here is great. There may not be too many opportunities for growth upward at this moment since we are small, but I have been used as a resource linearly between groups when in need. This has helped expand my knowledge and made me more valuable. There are rewards for excelling above others in the year, whether it be sales, or blog writing, or even personal exercise challenges. When the winter storm hit, I wasn’t expecting to receive a care package. We have very thoughtful people that work here that have made my experience a great one. Salary and Benefits: I would say when researching this company, I saw there were 3 levels of job experience/pay. You could call them beginner, experienced, expert. I left a company where I was the expert and moved into the experience category for this field type. Although a step down, I have met my goals and received compensation as expected. The health/medical/dental benefits have been great for my family as I have small kids. As with every job, your skill level should equal your pay level. Zuken has done a great job explaining benefits and communicating the bonus or pay raises year after year.

Cons

Traveling can sometimes lead to tough days or nights due to delays or maintenance. Its mostly airlines and not the company's fault. Not really any other cons I can think of at the moment.
