Pros

Free Lunch, nice office, free parking, nice lounge area, career growth if you can stay for more than a year, not many dull moments since you're always busy.

Cons

The hours are terrible. The 'official' hours are 830-630 pm, however, in reality you're staying until at least 7 pm and sometimes much longer than that. You're expected to work from home, and on the weekend/on PTO if needed. Literally no work-life balance whatsoever. Immature and inexperienced leadership that plays favorites, if you don't attend a social event you're completely shunned and no longer on the list for promotion no matter how well you do your job. A lot of the work isn't even challenging, it's mostly administrative work, but there's just so much to do that you're busy 24/7. Constant turnover, "free" lunch is just placed so that you have to work at your desk during lunch. If you care at all about your mental health, please try to look elsewhere. Billable hours are almost impossible to get because senior associates whip it out by the time it gets to you. Lastly, I don't agree with the manner that the company bills clients. If you have another offer take it, only take this job as a last resort.

Pros

- Nice 21st century modern building located in a great area for food (if you can ever leave during lunch) - Many nice and young ambitious coworkers to plan the AG escape with like in Shawshank Redemption - Company reputation and brand to put on your resume (just kidding) - You will learn how to deal with poor management, and grow thick skin with future companies with better, respectable, and reputable places.

Cons

Ever notice how almost all the reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars? Its obvious the 1 stars were written by real people that didnt drink the Kool Aid that is alliantgroup, whereas the 5 stars were written by current employees trying to suck up to management. I also found it funny how the YouTube videos promoting "how great AG is" dating back to 2016 are all interviews with the same AG employees. (Guess its hard to find people to interview when many of them quit). Employees are constantly forced company happy hours where if you don't go and stay late, then you will be ostracized and be viewed as a black sheep within the company. I guess the people who drank the Kool Aid need friends cause they dont have any outside of AG to go to HH with? (shoulder shrug). Hours were terrible, with no semblance of a work life balance. If you want to read more about it, simply Google the Houston Press article about AG.

Pros

you wake up everyday helping US businesses stay competitive and keep STEM jobs in the US. you feel proud to work alongside some of the best people in the world and your career and progress is only limited by you. I have personally achieved more for myself and my family than i ever would have imagined and that is true of everybody that works there. you get back a lot more than you give. alliantgroup is a family driven by the same purpose to help US businesses, enhance |STEM education, invest in our people and pay it forward as witnessed thru charity efforts, scholarships for college students and many other efforts. i wish i had joined right out of college - for the best career and the most fulfilling purpose, join us now.

Cons

you are challenged everyday to do the best for your clients and invest in your career and success of your teams. this is not easy. To be the best, you have to push thru your comfort zone and constantly learn and push yourself and your team mates to be the very best .
