      Pros

      Good department to work in if you know your manager well who gets along with you.

      Cons

      What can anyone say. If you know the right person you can jump positions whenever you feel like. Weather or not you have the knowledge. Someone becoming a developer without any background or knowledge shows its who you know In the department or company. The person couldn't lead his former position as Sr BA got promoted to a developer position.

      You will not fit into the culture if you are laid back and need constant supervision and reminders to do your work.
