Pros

Discount is great, and Paid time off is great.

Cons

No support from District Manager, or Corporate. No meal break, or help from management. There is no training structure for new people. Poor computer system and IT. Merchandise not ship on time or after a season is over. Working days open to close (12 hours)with no meal or rest. Stores closing in the US. Losing customers because of low merchandise.

There's nothing good about working here

Pros

You are actually paid something.

Cons

No PTO, no raises, management often wants us to cut our hours, a great deal of travel involved, constant major moves of merchandise with strict deadlines, not always given the tools to do our job correctly (from cleaning supplies to ring holders and more), too much time spent at home studying VM guides and emails, managers that don't want you to ask questions (they don't want to be bothered and we must value their time), a mobile device that has so many problems associated with it (for example, time-keeping and doing over/understock have to be done manually), having to complete moves, restock, and merchandise with plenty of customers in the stores (next to impossible at certain times of the year). This is a dead end job. This job is extremely stressful.

You’re absolutely right – mobile merchandisers are the “backbone” of our business and carry out an extremely important function to keeping us successful. We are actually confident that our turnover is lower than industry average but, that said, we of course want all of our employee to stay engaged with us. As for the issue around having tools to do your jobs – help is on the way! We understand why you feel that way, which is why we’ve just invested heavily in new devices and software for our field beeliners. Let us know if you’d like to chat more by sending us a note in HR.
