Pros

- great benefits - work environment was great - fitness subsidy

Cons

- management doesn't seem to know what they're doing, since some of them only got to their positions because they knew someone inside the corp - performance reviews are said to be based on numbers however, the managers can actually change the numbers against you - life outside of work impacts your ability to be promoted - hard work and perseverance are met with scepticism and auditing - some managers are incapable of doing their jobs, due to them not giving a flying crap about the people who work under them

Terrible management

Pros

Great co-workers. This is the only positive thing about working here.

Cons

Terrible middle management. Too much favouritism. If you speak up about their questionable practices, be prepared to be thrown out. Very low salaries. Supervisors admonish you for going to the washroom if you go more than once in the whole day. Its suffocating. They throw out people who speak up or who have strong moral values.

Pros

Co-workers are really fun people and the majority are very honest people

Cons

Corporate Culture. Constant Pressure from the management to flunk files. To find excuses and flaws, big or tiny, with a goal of denying a claim. I could not work knowing that I am shoplifting honest Canadians of their hard-earned money because they are not 100% expert. Your superiors look at you in a bad way if you don't give your 100% in denying a claim because this deteriorates their ratios. For them, everyone is just another number.
