Cons

very big company, management is clunky and slow to make decisions, people promoted all around the company which does not promote deep understanding of specific businesses or products

Pros

The perceived prestige of working for one of the major oil companies.

Cons

The continuing changing process, that adds no benefit to safety, or delivery. The problem that I see is generally around the forward plan. Every 2 years bp changes its strategic goals. Its seems that there is a child that is running our cooperate communications and strategy. There is absolutely no application to day to day business and technical activities that are the core of the business.
