Pros

Large scale projects, colleagues are good, good training offer, decent comp

Cons

Same work but less people now. Trying to move to an agile way of working but it feels like a gimmick.

Pros

1. Great place for work life balance 2. Interesting projects within the company 3. Relatively stable career prospects 4. Senior management take care of their employees 5. Pay is relatively ok compared to its competitors too.

Cons

1. Early stage career growth is age dependent. Performance may change that by +-1year. Anyone young, smart and ambitious should look elsewhere. 2. The company just settles and doesn't innovate. Management tends to be older, so defaults to doing what worked a few decades ago. It doesn't help that most of the middle+ management haven't worked outside the company, so there's a lot of group think. 3. Decision making is so complex and slow. Good luck trying to procure office pens. 4. It should've gotten out of major O&G a decade ago, it's future is bleak compared to companies that moved faster.
