Pros

Good base, attractive benefits, consistent bonuses. Robust infrastructure and support system (analytics, middle, back office) to execute deals and projects.

Cons

Compliance is becoming a blocker, the business is not adaptable to 'frontier' markets, management often doesn't have trading/markets background so no one is willing to make decisions.

Pros

- Very supportive in terms of flexible working arrangements. I've been on maternity leave twice during my tenure with BP and both times they have been extremely supportive in my return to work to accommodate my family commitments. - great benefits & perks e.g fuel discounts, 5 weeks annual leave, excellent salary plus bonuses, etc - great people

Cons

- large bureaucratic company as expected from a global oil company - too much complex processes for simple tasks / too much red tape - very competitive and limited career opportunities for particular areas of the business
