Pros

- overall excellent, intelligent and competent leadership - the BP core expected behaviors - some work/life balance flexibility such as remote working and flex time. Focus is on delivery and not face time.

Cons

- If you are under 40, the health insurance cost is high due to the higher risk pool at BP - While you own your own career, it is difficult finding true and genuine mentorship within the company. - Oil and gas industry - the male/female dynamics continue to be a bit of a challenge (unconscious bias).

Pros

Good benefits (pension, 401k matching, health, vision dental, FMLA plan, etc...). They also have competitive pay , bonus plan, and stock options.

Cons

Constantly reorganizing and laying people off. My business unit has Reorg'ed 4 times in the last 5 years. Always concerned about your job and cannot build any continuity on your teams.

Pros

Good benefits. The people are great - professionally and personally. Good team environment.

Cons

Regular layoffs and low morale. Management has been inconsistent. Needs to take better care of their most important resource - the people.
