      Great benefits and competitive base pay. Low stress. Real work/life balance. Some really smart people work here. Good technology

      Cons

      Watch what you say and do - HR gestapo is hiding in the shadows Big financial uncertainty with Macondo fines and ties to Russia Every couple of years there is a re-organization and management change, very disruptive and damaging to reputation Bonus program is weak Not the place for you if you like titles and promotions "See the world" - NOT - that's only a promotional gimmick.

      Lots of employee benefits. Company makes things easy to assimilate and get comfortable. Strong focus on values and work/life balance.

      Cons

      High tolerance for inefficiencies and stupidity. Too much bureaucracy in small decisions. Intense downsizing and focus on cost often dilutes growth.

      Pros

      Decent pay, decent benefits, depending on the manager, decent work atmosphere, great work out facilities, good location, Well that is about all the pros I can think of.

      Cons

      BP was a great place to work in the beginning. But due to mismanagement and poor leadership, the company has backed itself into a corner. The company is so full of red tape that its unbelievable that anything can ever get done. It is a good place to work if you like sitting around doing nothing and going to useless meetings. No one will make a decision, things just go on and on and on with no end or resolution.
