Pros

Good Colleagues. Understanding of the EV community .

Cons

-Not a single employee benefit: Doesn't exactly motivate the employee -Toxic office culture: Gossip and badmouthing from upper management says enough.. -Constant change in rules: I have to say some of the office/desk rules come off extremely patronizing. Not only that, but the indecisiveness will lead to us having no faith in our superiors. If you cannot stick to one rule do not make it a rule! It was like being in primary school again. We are adults..not children. -Would prefer to dispose of you then help correct your errors. -Micro management. -No praise for good work, but they sure enjoy setting up meetings for extremely ridiculous reasons. Nothing but negativity towards an employee. -HR failure to assist with harassment. -Favouritism. -Selective punishments according to manager/employee relationship. -No sense of security. -Not a single 1to1 appointment in over a year. That is not an exaggeration either.

Becoming a better place to work

Pros

Since moving buildings and the takeover of BP the company seems to be making slow but needed changes. The working atmosphere in general seems better. The people in all departments generally work well with each other, though with a company this size it is not going to be a bed of roses all the time with 300+ employees. The IT department was very overstretched, but this is probably now in hand. From a personal point of view I enjoyed working with the majority of the people I met in the company.

Cons

The MD and management need to understand more what is going on in the company in general and not fear to delegate accordingly, but this should changes with the BP takeover. These are only my observations and things may have changed somewhat since I left. My standard hours were 8.30am to 5.30pm which leave you exhausted by the end of the week if you have a long commute.
