Could be so much better with just a little effort
Pros
(1) You will work with some great technology. (2) They try to maintain a pleasant working environment. (3) Most goals are clear and written. (4) There is a focus on written documentation although see the cons below.
Cons
(1) The focus is on teamwork, which is fine if you like that and want to learn from others, but if you want to get a complete picture of a project and become a fully developed engineer, it works less well. (2) Meetings and planning are not well managed, and staff do not express themselves clearly. (3) The company discriminates against men and I suspect it goes beyond what is lawfully allowed. (4) Written documentation tends to be word salad. I tend to throw away the manual and get hacking. (5) The political correctness, EDI, and corporate nonsense is irritating. If you do not fit the mould you will not enjoy it here. Ironically.
