Pros

Wonderful to be associated with a company that directly contributes to millions of people making a living out of selling items on eBay. Great brand recognition. Healthy and professional work atmosphere. Decent work-life balance.

Cons

Was once a great company, no longer is. For the most part company is in a maintenance mode without any ground breaking innovation and change. Company does shy away from making changes for fear of the community. Not a great place for innovation anymore.

Pros

It's nice to work for a company that has such high brand recognition.

Cons

I knew that eBay had the reputation of being a sweat shop before I joined. Wish I would have considered that more before accepting the offer.

Management team sucks

Pros

environment is dynamic. People are generally nice. It is a typical IT company, so work hour is pretty flexible as you can see.

Cons

work is boring. Too many people working on the smallest projects and the area that you get to work on is really narrow. You won't be able to exposed to the bigger picture. Hence no career advancement whatsoever. Management team really not doing a good job growing people here.
