Pros

eBay is one of the top global brands and it gives the opportunity to billions of people around the world to make a better life for themselves. The work environment is very collaborative and fast paced, your job is never boring!

Cons

eBay's internal structure is very chaotic with constantly shifting priorities. You need to be very flexible / adaptable to work at eBay. It takes some time (months) to be able to navigate that structure and establishing relationships is key to making things happen.

Pros

With so many projects going on at eBay, there is never a dull moment. Management is usually very flexible with working from home and offers great work-life balance. eBay offers quite a great benefits package with on-site gym, generous vacation hours, education assistance program. For some roles, there are lots of opportunity for business travel to outside of the US

Cons

Lots of re-organization that affects employee morale and negatively affect resources Too many different teams and groups within the company, often takes too long to get things done Difficult to get your voices heard within the company Lack of communication within the company about what's going on, what features are being built Old bad ideas just keep resurfacing Company just keeps adding new features on site without thinking about the big picture.
