Cons

Very difficult to get a promotion. If you are a post graduate and have significant industry experience , then also you will be considered a newbie. You will be given work of a experienced guy, but compensation of a newbie.

There is a ton of opportunity to do a lot of cutting edge work in highly scalable systems. The company is very ambitious, so if you can align yourself with a team that is growing, you can get promoted pretty easily.

Cons

The company does not have a strong visionary leading the way. Amazon has this and that is why has done so much better than eBay. They don't deal with acquisitions well.
